Masterson Workshop is a plastics manufacturing and software development firm from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, PA. We leverage our programming experience to develop novel manufacturing techniques using stereolithography. We specialize in made-to-order stamps, embossing seals, and small fixtures, with a simple goal: Maximize quality. We are always innovating, continually researching new ways we can use our technology to its fullest extent.

We've leveraged modern technology to develop new stampmaking techniques from scratch, which allows us to deliver pristine results that aren't achievable using traditional methods.

If you need a hand, we will work one-on-one with you to create your ideal design — In most cases, you'll be able to chat directly with the technician working on your order. Our goal is to make your presentation as beautiful as your product!
- Focus on Sustainability: We work hard to ensure our production process is as sustainable as possible, from using recyclable materials in our packaging to keeping archives of our embossing seals for repeat orders. Plus, for orders above $20 placed through our website, we will plant one tree on your behalf through our partnership with Carbonhalo!
- American-Made: Our images are produced in-house at our facility in Philadelphia, PA, which keeps shipping fast, cheap, and efficient!
Not Just Marking Supplies
We aren't just stampmakers — our team is also made up of experienced programmers! We develop specialized software for certain industries, some of which you may soon find on our website as we develop consumer versions.
Our programming experience allows us to develop our own stamp and embosser templates using Computer-Aided Design. We don't need to rely on outside help; we know our templates inside-and-out, which means we can tailor them to your design needs.
Our History
Masterson Workshop was founded in the spring of 2023 as Grays Ferry Family Notary, a one-woman operation under Catharine Pierce, notary public. Catharine graduated from Temple University's Fox School of Business, class of 2021, with a B.B.A. in Economics and a minor in Computer Science.
Unfortunately, a high number of local competitors meant that the notary service would need to shift its focus to a different market in order to stay afloat. As a notary public, it's common to use many different stamps each day — This experience gave Catharine knowledge of what did and didn't make a good stamp. This, and Catharine's prior experience with programming and 3D printing as a hobbyist, made stampmaking the best path for the business to take.
Catharine's new stamp venture was a success, quickly trending on Etsy, and in the summer of 2023, Grays Ferry Family Notary officially became Masterson Workshop. The company would soon expand to manufacturing embossing seals, another notary tool, and various small household fixtures.
